Spencer W. Bjarnason, DMD, MS

Dr. Spencer Bjarnason graduated from Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, receiving his DMD degree in 2011.

Following dental school, Dr. Bjarnason joined the United States Navy and was stationed as a general dentist with the 3rd Dental Battalion in Okinawa, Japan. After spending three years as a general dentist, he left Okinawa to begin an endodontic residency at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, MD.

He graduated from his residency in 2016, earning a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology. Following graduation, he continued his Naval service at Camp Lejeune, NC. In 2017, Dr. Bjarnason became Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics, a distinguished accomplishment earned by less than 25% of all endodontists.

Dr. Bjarnason loved serving his country and cherishes the experience and training he received. He and his family moved to Georgetown in June 2019 and are excited to call Texas home.

Dr. Bjarnason prides himself in providing gentle, high-quality endodontic care at Oakwood Endodontics.

In his free time, he loves to play volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and ping-pong.

He loves college sports, especially football. He enjoys hiking, camping and playing board games or watching movies with his wife and four children.
